We’re checking out Cyberaktif’s recent release alongside a brand new single from Rotersand, and a few picks from 2023 that were close runners-up to our top picks chapter last month. Often called the Dyatlov Pass Incident of the 70s, the Chivruay Pass Tragedy has similar elements: 10 students go hiking in the snowy Russian mountains and are later found frozen to death. They also share a cloud of mystery and intrigue that may or may not be true.
It’s our January chapter, and that means a look back at the music of the previous year. 2023 was a fantastic year for dark underground music, seeing releases from veteran artists and newcomers alike. Justin and Ed spin some of their favorites on this month’s show!
