Gothropology is an anthropology-psychology-centric show with a Goth twist, the guide to come and take you by the hand into unknown pleasures. Today’s episode features David Hutchinson, Kittie/Kat/The Kitten, and Jasmine Nino of The Grace of Bondage. We discuss the performance troupe, its inception and ideas, and segway into bondage and BDSM in practice- the responsibility involved in “insanity” and much more. Plus, in honor of National Cat Day, a decree to “appreciate the Kittie” has been ordered. Enjoy!

Gothropology is an anthropology & psychology-centric show that discusses ancient traditions, spirituality, sex and death- why we do what we do. On this episode, Brit-El is joined via Skype by Laura Prieto-Velasco of Hvnter Gvtherer for discussion on her approach to metalwork, the concept of sacred space, connected existence of the ancient and modern, and more. They also discuss her upcoming collaboration with musician Chelsea Wolfe, and later on Brit-El answers some of Laura’s own questions on interest in anthropology, with further expanse on what spirituality means individually.
